| Mission in Healthcare | |||||||
Our mission is to help healthcare delivery organizations achieve the following objectives, while reducing operational costs,increasing efficiency and profitability:
Care delivery organizations often have multiple information management systems (applications) that have specific functions within the delivery environment. This means care givers usually have to make redundant data entry into the various applications. This can lead tovarious forms of errors (omission, typographical…etc). Some tasks within a process can be mundane easily lead to frustration on the part of the care givers. Some mundane tasks can be easily automated relieving care giver stress. Additional time available to the care givers can be used either to attend to the needs of other patients or spend more time with fewer patients. Various information management “silos” (or independent specialized applications) can be integrated into a unified system. By doing so redundant data entry can be completely eliminated and correspondingly the number of errors introduced. Integrated systems help care delivery organizations gather better “intelligence” from the information available in the various systems. This intelligence can help direct quality measure and strategic objectives. Integrated systems also help reduce time required in delivering reports to regulatory bodies. Instead of manually compiling and analyzing information from various systems, the entire process can be automated. Quality checks and compliance audits can be conducted internally within an organization on a regular basis fending off the anxiety and worry of an external audit. Integrated systems and intelligence gathered from available information, together with quality control procedures can effectively increase patient safety and reduce problems such as medication errors. |
